DOkTM — Choose the Best

Partnership Policy

How partnerships with DOkTM work, and what submitting a partnership enquiry does and does not mean.

Last updated: September 2026

1. Purpose

This Partnership Policy explains how DOkTM engages with healthcare organisations, how partnership enquiries are evaluated, and the standards that apply to any partnership, sponsorship, advertising, affiliate, or commercial relationship. It is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal advice.

2. What partnering with DOkTM means

Partnering with DOkTM means working together to improve visibility, professional engagement, education, discovery, and appropriate commercial opportunities. A partnership is not automatic; it requires a separate written agreement and adherence to applicable DOkTM policies. Submitting an enquiry is an expression of interest only.

3. Partnership categories

DOkTM may consider partnerships across categories including hospitals and healthcare providers; medical device and surgical companies; pharmaceutical and healthcare companies; medical colleges and academic institutions; conference and CME organisers; diagnostic and laboratory services; healthcare accommodation; corporate healthcare; healthcare technology companies and startups; and other healthcare organisations. The partnership type (for example editorial, commercial, advertising, affiliate, provider, conference, surgical, technology, or institutional) is determined through an authorised admin workflow and is never automatically assigned by submitting an enquiry.

4. Editorial independence

Editorial and informational content is produced independently. Commercial relationships do not influence editorial selection, ranking, verification, or clinical assessment. Editorial content is kept clearly separate from sponsored or paid content.

6. Advertising distinction

Advertising is a distinct commercial activity governed by the Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy. A partnership enquiry is not an advertising agreement, and an advertising purchase is not a partnership approval. Advertising requires its own approval and consent process.

7. Affiliate relationships

Affiliate relationships only apply when explicitly configured, and public disclosure is driven by the existing Affiliate Disclosure mechanism (which defaults to inactive unless legitimately configured). Submitting an enquiry does not create or imply an affiliate relationship. DOkTM does not fabricate affiliate relationships.

8. Provider / institutional partnerships

Provider listings, claims, and verification follow their own authorised workflows. A partnership enquiry does not publish a provider, verify a provider, or grant provider privileges. Each provider relationship is subject to the relevant verification and approval process.

9. Conference / CME partnerships

Conference and CME promotion preserves factual provenance. Discovery and promotion do not constitute endorsement of the event's clinical content. Conference records remain subject to verification standards.

10. Surgical product / inventory partnerships

Promotion of surgical and medical products preserves factual catalogue provenance and verification status. Product promotion does not equal clinical endorsement, regulatory approval, or verification of the product.

11. Technology / integration partnerships

Technology and platform-integration partnerships are assessed on their own merits and require a separate written agreement. They do not grant access to user data beyond what applicable policies and consents permit.

12. No automatic acceptance

Submitting a partnership enquiry does not guarantee acceptance, listing, promotion, advertising, endorsement, preferred placement, or any commercial relationship. DOkTM may accept, decline, or request more information at its discretion. Submission ≠ approval. Payment ≠ approval. Advertising purchase ≠ partnership approval.

13. No guarantee of visibility or promotion

Even where a partnership is agreed, DOkTM does not guarantee specific visibility, placement, leads, or outcomes beyond what is expressly set out in a separate written agreement. Organic and editorial outcomes are never sold.

14. Accuracy of information supplied by partners

Partners are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit. DOkTM may verify, request corrections, or remove information that is inaccurate, misleading, or cannot be verified. Submitting false or misleading information may result in rejection or termination of a relationship.

15. Prohibited submissions

DOkTM does not accept submissions that are fraudulent, misleading, infringe third-party rights, promote unsafe or unapproved practices, or that include passwords, OTPs, payment credentials, medical records, patient-identifiable information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. DOkTM may reject or remove such submissions and take further action where appropriate.

16. Conflicts of interest

Partners should disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest. DOkTM reserves the right to decline or manage relationships where a conflict cannot be adequately addressed.

17. Use of DOkTM branding

DOkTM branding, logos, and marks are owned by DOkTM. Partners may not use DOkTM branding except as expressly permitted in a separate written agreement. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

18. Intellectual property

DOkTM retains its intellectual property in the platform and its content. Partner-supplied content remains the property of the partner or its licensors, subject to any licence granted under a separate written agreement. See the Copyright & Intellectual Property policy for more detail.

19. Confidential information

Where confidential information is shared in the course of exploring a partnership, each party should handle it appropriately. DOkTM does not request and partners should not submit unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form.

20. Data & privacy

DOkTM processes partnership enquiry data as described in the Privacy Policy, including name, organisation, professional role, email, phone if provided, enquiry details, partnership category, consent records, communication history, and administrative review information. Partners do not receive user data beyond what applicable policies and consents permit.

21. Termination

A partnership or enquiry may be declined, paused, or terminated by either party in accordance with the applicable written agreement and DOkTM policies. Termination does not affect obligations that survive termination.

22. No agency / partnership by submission

Submitting a partnership enquiry does not create a partnership, agency relationship, endorsement, sponsorship, exclusivity, commercial commitment, or contractual relationship with DOkTM. No partner is authorised to bind DOkTM or represent DOkTM except under a separate written agreement.

23. Written agreement requirement

Any partnership, sponsorship, advertising arrangement, commercial collaboration, data-sharing arrangement, or other formal relationship is subject to a separate written agreement and applicable DOkTM policies, and to DOkTM's approval.

24. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DOkTM's liability in connection with partnership enquiries and partnerships is limited as set out in the Terms & Conditions and any separate written agreement. DOkTM is not liable for reliance on information submitted through an enquiry before a relationship is formalised.

25. Governing law & dispute provisions

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to DOkTM as configured. Any disputes are subject to the governing law and dispute provisions set out in the Terms & Conditions and any separate written agreement.

26. Contact

For partnership-related questions, use the configured contact channels on the Contact page. DOkTM does not publish a phone number, address, or email on this page; please use the contact form.

27. Policy version (1.0)

Partnership Policy version 1.0, last updated September 2026. DOkTM may update this policy from time to time; updates take effect when posted. Historical consent records retain the version accepted at the time of submission and are never overwritten.

These policies are provided for general informational purposes and should be reviewed and finalized by appropriate legal counsel before commercial launch. They are not legal advice.
