Provider Terms
The agreement between DOkTM and healthcare providers using provider accounts, claims, and commercial features.
Last updated: September 2026
PAYMENT DOES NOT EQUAL VERIFICATION. A paid subscription, sponsored campaign, or any other commercial feature never makes a provider Verified, Accredited, Certified, Recommended, or higher-ranked, and never changes a provider's factual verification status. Verification is determined solely by DOkTM's independent review process.
1. About These Provider Terms
These Provider Terms govern provider accounts and provider-facing features on DOkTM, including listing claims, profile management, rates, appointments, patient enquiries, advertising, and commercial features. They form part of the Terms & Conditions and, together with the Privacy Policy, Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy, and Refund, Cancellation & Subscription Policy, apply to your use of provider features. DOkTM is a discovery and technology platform — not a hospital, clinic, accreditor, or regulator.
2. Provider Eligibility
Provider accounts are for healthcare organisations and practitioners that appear on (or are applying to appear on) the DOkTM directory. Listing in the directory is independent of any commercial feature. Paid commercial features are available only to providers that meet DOkTM's commercial eligibility requirements, which include being explicitly classified as a private provider, being active on the platform, and not being suspended. Government/public-sector and ownership-unclear providers are not eligible for paid commercial features.
3. Ownership Representation & Claim Authority
By claiming or managing a provider listing, you represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of the provider organisation and that the information you provide to evidence that authority is genuine. Claiming a listing you are not authorised to manage may result in removal of access and suspension of your account.
4. Accuracy of Provider Information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit about your organisation — names, addresses, contact details, facilities, and descriptions. DOkTM reviews provider-submitted content before publication and may reject or correct it. Published information must be kept current.
5. Qualifications & Registration Information
Where you submit information about qualifications, registrations, or licences (for yourself or for practitioners affiliated with your organisation), you confirm that the information is accurate and that the practitioners hold the qualifications and registrations described. You must not present credentials, registrations, accreditations, or approvals that have not been obtained.
6. Services & Procedure Associations
Associations between your organisation and procedures in the DOkTM catalogue are created and modified only through DOkTM's review workflow — they are never created automatically from a payment or campaign. You must only claim capability for procedures your organisation actually offers.
7. Provider Rates & Rate Updates
Rates you submit are attributed to you as the provider and require DOkTM review before they become public. Rates should reflect your actual, current pricing to the extent practicable; you should update them when they change. DOkTM may also display clearly-labelled external reference prices near your profile for comparison — these are attributed to their public sources, are not your submitted rates, and are never presented as your quotation.
8. Appointments
The appointment feature lets patients send appointment requests to your organisation. A request is not a confirmed booking — confirmation, rescheduling, and cancellation are performed by you through your provider dashboard, and availability may change at any time. You should respond to requests and keep your availability information accurate. If appointment fees are introduced as a commercial feature, the applicable fee and terms will be disclosed at checkout before any charge.
9. Patient Enquiries
Patient enquiries and leads are routed to your provider account with the minimum contact information the patient chose to share. You may respond to patients directly. DOkTM does not guarantee the volume, quality, or genuineness of enquiries. Do not request medical records, diagnostic reports, or clinical histories from patients through ordinary enquiry channels beyond what you actually need to respond. DOkTM applies duplicate suppression and fraud/self-lead detection to enquiry traffic; flagged enquiries are never billable and are subject to admin review.
10. Advertising & Sponsored Campaigns
Sponsored campaigns require explicit DOkTM admin approval before any public display — payment never bypasses review. Campaign content must comply with the Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy and the prohibited claims in section 14 below. Approved campaigns may be paused or removed at any time, including if your eligibility changes or platform-wide commercial activity is paused. Sponsored placements appear in a separate, labelled band and never change organic search results.
11. Subscription Plans & Trials
Subscription plans (including DOkTM Pro), their entitlements, and their prices are as described at checkout. Free trials, where offered, are limited to one per provider, are non-monetary, and never convert to a paid subscription without your explicit consent. When a subscription or trial ends, only the paid entitlements lapse — your provider data is not deleted by expiry alone. Plan changes take effect through a new checkout at the next billing cycle; automatic proration is not supported.
12. Billing, Invoices & GST
Charges, fees, net amounts, and applicable taxes are computed by DOkTM's server-side billing system according to its configured tax treatment — amounts are never taken from client input. Invoices, where issued, are generated by DOkTM and reflect the tax configuration applied at the time of the transaction. Any GSTIN, legal entity name, and billing address you provide will be used on invoices, so they must be accurate.
13. Refunds, Cancellations & Credits
Refunds, cancellations, and credits are governed by the Refund, Cancellation & Subscription Policy. Refund amounts are validated against the original payment and processed through the original payment method where possible; promotional credits applied to a refunded charge are generally restored to your credit balance rather than paid in cash, subject to applicable law and DOkTM's determination.
14. Prohibited Claims & Content Standards
You must not submit or publish content that:
- Claims guaranteed treatment, guaranteed results, or a guaranteed cure
- Claims guaranteed patients, bookings, or appointments
- Uses “best”, “No. 1”, “100% success”, or similar unsupported superiority claims
- Makes misleading regulatory, accreditation, or certification claims
- Contains fabricated or solicited reviews or ratings
- Infringes the intellectual property or image rights of others
DOkTM screens campaign content against prohibited claims and may reject, require changes to, or remove content that violates these standards.
15. Images & Content Rights
You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to all images and content you upload or submit, and that their use on DOkTM does not infringe any third party's rights. Content sourced from external public sources is used as attributed reference information with recorded provenance; DOkTM does not treat third-party content as approved for commercial reuse unless reuse rights are actually established.
16. Patient Data & Confidentiality
Patient contact details and enquiry information routed to you are shared so you can respond to the patient. You must handle that information in accordance with your own privacy and regulatory obligations, use it only to respond to the enquiry, and not disclose it publicly or use it for unrelated purposes.
17. Fraud & Misuse
Generating enquiries for your own listing, coordinating fake or repeated enquiries, manipulating engagement metrics, or misusing the platform in any way is prohibited. DOkTM applies fraud and self-lead detection, and flagged activity is never billable, is subject to admin review, and may lead to suspension of your account and commercial features.
18. Suspension & Termination
DOkTM may suspend or terminate a provider account, listing, campaign, or commercial feature if these Provider Terms are breached, information proves inaccurate or misleading, or fraud or misuse is identified. You may stop using provider features at any time. Suspension or termination does not automatically void charges already incurred, and refunds (if any) are governed by the refund policy.
19. Changes to These Terms
DOkTM may update these Provider Terms from time to time. Updates are versioned and take effect when posted. Materially significant changes will be reflected in an incremented policy version.
